GLENVILLE-CASHIERS -- Blue Ridge Early College seniors Selena McCoy and Fisher Druffel were crowned queen and king of the school’s 2019 homecoming Friday night. The pair were selected based on a vote by the student body. Their selection was kept secret and only revealed just before they were crowned at halftime of the Blue Ridge-Nantahala boys basketball game in front of a standing room only crowd in the Bobcats gym.
Selena is the daughter of Brandy and Gabino Garcia. Fisher is the son of Kim and John Druffel.
