The movie “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” which will begin filming in downtown Sylva later this month, is looking for paid extras of all ages and ethnicities to work in the film, according to the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority.
The movie tells the story of Mildred Hayes, a woman in her early 50s, who goes to war against her local police force, believing them to be too inept to solve the murder of her daughter. The film is a dark comedy, written and directed by Oscar winner Martin McDonagh “In Bruges” and stars Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, John Hawkes and Peter Dinklage.
