Michael Joseph Bradley

Michael Joseph Bradley, 26, of Wilmington and Cashiers, passed away recently from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Brevard on Feb. 20, 1990, and is the son of Jim and Debbie Bradley.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a daughter, Emmersyn Marie; sister, Carey Bradley (Chaz); nephew, Kahne Bradley; grandmother, Marlene Johnson; godmother, Gretta Michelle; and many family and friends whose lives he touched along his way.

He was a graduate of Blue Ridge High School in Cashiers, where he loved playing baseball. Michael also attended Blue Ridge Jr. College in Hendersonville.

Michael had just received his captain’s license and was employed as First Mate on the Fish Witch Charters at Carolina Beach.

In being an organ donor, Michael will live on by enabling others to enjoy a better quality of life.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Sea Witch Café & Tiki Bar, 227 Carolina Beach Ave. N., Carolina Beach, NC 28428. A celebration will also be held at 2 p.m. May 21 at the baseball field at Blue Ridge High School in Cashiers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Bobcat Athletic Booster Club, 95 Bobcat Drive, Cashiers, NC 28717.
