Mrs. Norma Fidelis White age 87 of Griffin passed away December 11, 2022.  Mrs. White was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church and formerly attended Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Highlands, NC. She served on the Board of Directors of Southern Regional Hospital and volunteered with The Clayton County Battered Women’s Organization.  She was the owner of Martino-White Printing, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Johnny C. White; daughter: Teresa Lynn White-Evans and her siblings: Marguerite Matthews, Robert Strobel and Rebecca Schelnick.

She is survived by her children: Kim (Ted) Greene of Fayetteville, Mark E. White of Griffin, Diane M. Green of  McDonough and Jill E. (John) Durham of  McDonough; brothers: Johnny (Susan) Strobel of AK and Larry (Cheryl) Strobel of TX; sisters: Mary (Bill) Lemond of AK, Bette (Raleigh) Bailes of TX, and Barbara (Frank) Hembree  of GA; grandchildren: J.J. Martino, Dan Martino, Jennifer Bryant, Seante Carter, Courtney Davis, Flemming Snively, Lauren Jenkins, Lindsey Swann, and Haley Ray; great grandchildren: 23 and one on the way; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Miskiewicz, OFM Conv. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022 at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.
