Tina Elizabeth Bradley Corbin
Tina Elizabeth Bradley was born Sept. 19, 1930 in Cashiers Valley where she grew up, married her sweetheart, Alvin Grant, and gave birth to three children, James Edward Grant of Cashiers, Katherine Grant Roberts (deceased), and Sandra Grant Crowe of Waynesville.
Known by her friends and family as “Beth,” she made her home in the little community of Heady Mountain where she raised her family.
After Alvin Grant’s death in 1975, she met and married Edmund Corbin and spent many healthy, happy years serving as a VFW volunteer and growing award-winning flowers. Edmund preceded her in death in 2004.
Beth was surrounded in her later years by her children, step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She lived a long life and dearly loved her Lord. She was blessed.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 22at noon at Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Delbert McCall and the Rev. Johnny Norris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
