SOUTHERN JACKSON COUNTY -- Blue Ridge Early College’s boys soccer team fell to Queen’s Grant 5-2 Tuesday. The loss to the Stallions in the second round of the state playoffs ends the season for the Bobcats, which finish 9-1 in conference and 12-3 overall.

Be sure to pick up a copy of the Nov. 7 print edition of the Crossroads Chronicle for more on Blue Ridge sports. It went to press before the game ended, but has a big preview of this year’s Blue Ridge girls basketball team, whose season is about to start.
